If you loved the ’90s movie A League of Their Own, you’ll be happy to hear there’s a TV series adaptation to watch. This series takes the heart of the movie and uses the series time to develop the personal storylines. Considering the series is set in the 1940s, there are a lot of storylines to cover when it comes to female baseball players.

Now you just need to know where to watch the TV series. Will you be able to watch on a streaming platform? Is this a series to own on DVD and Blu-ray? Here’s all you need to know.

Watch A League of Their Own on Prime Video

There is only one streaming platform to watch this series. The baseball series is going to be available on Prime Video.

It is an Amazon Original Series, which means it won’t be on any other streaming platform. The only way this series will be on another platform is if something happens to Amazon, and we just can’t see that happening.

Will the baseball comedy drama be on Digital?

Will it be possible to own the series on Digital? We highly doubt this. It doesn’t make sense for Amazon to release its original content on Digital. This takes people away from the streaming platform.

However, you can own the 1990s movie on Digital*. This is a great way to get part of the story. You’ll need to turn to Prime Video for the TV series, though.

Can you get A League of Their Own on DVD and Blu-ray?

How about a DVD release? We highly doubt this, too. We don’t see a lot of Amazon content arrive on DVD and Blu-ray. Like with the Digital release, it doesn’t make sense to do this. Offering a release that is a one-time purchase option takes people away from the streaming platform. The releases that have happened are mostly movies that have been released in theaters first.

The movie is another matter. You can own this on DVD and Blu-ray!
