Last Light marks Matthew Fox’s return to TV, and there’s no doubt you’ll want to check it out. How can you stream the series online?

There are a lot of reasons to watch Last Light. Of course, Matthew Fox’s return to TV is one of the big ones, but this is a series that will certainly leave you on the edge of your seat. There are elements to it that feel real; that make you think this could actually happen.

The story is loosely based on a novel of the same name by Alex Scarrow*. It takes a look at our reliance on oil. What would happen in the world if oil suddenly stopped working? How would people cope?

That’s what happens. Andy Yeats is called out to the Middle East to find out what’s going on with the world’s oil. It isn’t working as it should, and suddenly everything that runs on oil stops working. That includes electricity and cars.

Andy’s family is thousands of miles away. His wife and son are in Paris, while his daughter is in London. They all need to find their way back to each other in the midst of a crisis that may be not as natural as it initially seems.

Where to stream Last Light online

Which streaming platform is Last Light on? You’ll need to turn your attention to Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming platform.

It’s not clear where the show is streaming anywhere else right now. Peacock TV shows head to various locations.

Can you watch the show on Digital?

Will it be possible to buy the series on Digital? This is unlikely. It doesn’t make sense for streaming platforms to release content on Digtal. The releases encourage people to pay once to watch the content over and over again. We haven’t seen Peacock allow other shows to come out in this method so far.

Can you get Last Light on DVD?

How about a DVD release? We haven’t seen Peacock shows come to DVD yet, but this isn’t something to completely rule out. Other streamers have released some shows in this format. There are benefits to this as it allows people to watch when there isn’t an internet connection. If it does happen, we’re looking at it being in a year or so.
