Outlander Season 6 is finally here. The episodes will air on cable tonight, but you get the chance to watch already via a streaming platform. Now you just need to get all your viewing options in order.

The new season picks up off the back of the events from the Outlander Season 5 finale. Claire is struggling with moving past the trauma of the events with Lionel Brown, and she’s going to find a questionable way of dealing with it. Meanwhile, Jamie has some new tenants to welcome at Fraser’s Ridge.

The new tenants come with Tom Christie, someone from Jamie’s past at Ardsmuir. They don’t get along, and it’s going to take some work for the two to gel together for the best interests of everyone at Fraser’s Ridge.

Meanwhile, Brianna and Roger are staying in the 18^th century. Now they need to figure out how to make it work. What will they do? Can Bree work on “inventions” to make life easier for the people at the Ridge? What will Roger decide to do with his life? All these questions and more will be answered throughout the season.

Where to watch Outlander Season 6 live

If you only have cable channels, there is one place to watch the new episodes. The series airs at 9/8c on STARZ in the United States.

If you’re in Canada, you’ll need the W network. This is where the series has aired since the second season, and the episodes will air weekly at 9 p.m. ET.

What about watching the show online? Those in the U.S. will be able to watch new episodes of the series from midnight ET every Sunday. Yes, the episodes are available ahead of the air time on the channel, which is the opposite to most streaming platforms.

In Canada, you’ll have two options. If you have cable with W, you’ll be able to tune into the Global TV App for free (okay, because of your cable package). You can then watch the episodes as much as you want.

Don’t have cable? You’ll need to get Stack TV on Prime Video. You’ll get access to everything under the Global TV banner.

Get the series on Digital and DVD

Eventually, Season 6 will be released on Digital, DVD, and Blu-ray. This isn’t going to be until after the season airs, though. We’re looking at sometime in May at the earliest, but it’s probably going to be August onward.
