We all love a good space drama, and The Ark promises to be just that. The first episode airs on SYFY tonight, Feb. 1. Of course, like so many broadcast shows now, it will stream online the following day.

The series follows a group of survivors on Ark One. Set 100 years into the future, the survivors have no supplies or leadership after a catastrophic event. Now they’ll need to work together if they want their mission for planetary colonization to be a success.

The episodes are usually available within 24 hours of episodes airing on broadcast. it’s worth buying the full season right away. Episodes are then added to your library as soon as they’re available.

Will the new series come to DVD and Blu-ray in the future? We certainly expect to see it. Plenty of other SYFY shows, like Deadly Class* and Dark Matter* have been released on DVD. Why would we see something different happen here?
