It’s time to find out more about that background, with Samantha Morton playing the role in The Serpent Queen.

The series is based on the non-fiction book Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France by Leonie Frieda*. This is certainly something to keep in mind as while the books has been dramatized, there is a lot based on fact.

How to stream The Serpent Queen online

There is only one place to watch the show right now. The series is a STARZ Original Series, so it is on that streaming platform.

The good news is that this is a premium cable network. You don’t need to get the app if you already have the channel via your cable provider. While you can stream from midnight on Sundays on the app, you can watch at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the channel on Sunday nights.

Because it’s a premium cable network, we don’t see shows released as a binge-watch. Episodes are released weekly on Sundays.
