How Supernatural will end: Showrunner teases series finale

All eyes are on how Supernatural will come to an end. It started with the brothers, and that’s the way it will end.

There is one thing on the mind of all Supernatural fans right now, and that’s how the series is going to come to an end. The series finale is in two short weeks, and with everything that happened in Thursday night’s episode, tensions are high.

According to TVLine, showrunner Andrew Dabb says there’s only one way the series can end: with the boys together. At least, they’ll be together in some sort of way.

Dabb says that the series began with the two of them. It’s going to end with the two of them. That doesn’t really tell us anything concrete, though, right?

Whatever happens, it’s going to be about the two of them.

Supernatural series finale teaser is now available

We can get a look at some teases for the final episode, which airs on Nov. 19. We’re getting a two-hour special, which starts with a lookback at the 15 years of the series and ends with the all-important Supernatural series finale.

The teaser for the episode looks at the filming for the goodbye special. Not only will the lead stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki share what the show means to them, but some of the other cast members will also join in.

Then it’s into an episode that is about the boys.

There’s also a synopsis out, but it doesn’t give away too much.

After 15 seasons, the longest running sci fi series in the US is coming to an end. Baby, it’s the final ride for saving people and hunting things.

Will the Winchesters get a happy ending?

One thing may viewers want is for the Winchesters to get a happy ending. They want to see the Winchesters ride off into the sunset, living a peaceful life as retired hunters.

And after 15 years of monsters and powerful beings, of course fans want that. A series finale often feels complete with a happy ending.

But is that really going to be in the cards for the Winchesters? Let’s be honest; there’s really only one of two ways that things could potentially end for them. They’re either going to die hunting or the world is going to get rid of monsters and demons in some sort of way.

The only other option is that the Winchesters continue hunting. We don’t really get a closed ending, keeping things open for a return sometime in the future or that long-awaited spin-off.

Ackles has said that the ending is what he has always come back to. Both he and Padalecki have talked about how it would end with one or both dying. That’s the only way they can see the Winchesters leaving that life behind. So, we may want to be ready. But hopefully, we do get a happy ending.
