It is finally official. The Baby-Sitters Club Season 2 is happening at Netflix. What do we know about the season so far?

We have some awesome news. After months of waiting for an answer, fans around the world have found out that The Baby-Sitters Club Season 2 is officially happening on Netflix.

The leading young ladies took to YouTube to share the exciting news, and you can tell they are just as (if not more than) excited as us.

The announcement was so adorable, and perfect for the series. The five current members and their two new junior members of The Baby-Sitters Club sang along to the iconic theme song. During it, they dropped the announcement “and we’re getting a Season 2.”

Oh, yes, we’re down for that!

When will The Baby-Sitters Club Season 2 premiere on Netflix?

The big question when we get the renewal confirmation is when we’ll get the new episodes. We’re going to have to wait.

TVLine reports that the second season is coming sometime in 2021. This does suggest that the creators got the word from Netflix that they were renewed pretty early on. After all, it takes time to write the episodes, film them, go through post-production, and be ready for a release. We’re already close to the end of 2020, and filming isn’t exactly easy right now.

This is a show on the shorter side, though. Episodes are only 30 minutes long, which means shorter work-weeks for filming.

The Baby-Sitters Club Retro Set ($)

Sophie Grace, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Malia Baker, and Xochitl Gomez will all return to the second season. We’ll also see junior members Jessie and Mallory join, as both Anais Lee and Vivian Watson were in the announcement video.

There’s no doubt that this show is needed. It’s inclusive, positive, and helpful for young girls. It’s one for the whole family to watch together. We’re certainly excited for more.
