The Blacklist: Have we got a major death on the way tonight?
Heads up, everyone. If the episode synopsis is anything to go by we have a major death on the way in tonight’s new episode of The Blacklist.
We could be in for a major shock tonight. It’s a double episode special of The Blacklist on NBC and according to the episode synopsis, there will be ramifications that will change the task force forever. Which screams, at least to me, that a major death is on the way.
It won’t be until the second part of the two-part special. The episode in question is called, “The Osterman Umbrella Company,” and you can check out the official synopsis released for yourself by NBC below:
Red directs Liz to investigate a secret organization of assassins hired by global intelligence agencies to eliminate former agents, a case with ramifications that will change the task force forever.
Now I could be wrong here, there could be other ramifications that change the task force forever, but I honestly think a major death is on the way. As Season 7 of The Blacklist is not far away and while some of the cast major cast members have signed new contracts, not all of them have. Hisham Tawfiq, Amir Arison, and Mozhan Marno, who play Dembe, Aram, and Samar respectively, have yet to sign a new agreement.
So it is highly possible one of them could be leaving The Blacklist and that moment could be tonight. Samar is the most likely character to exit the series. Last weeks episode saw her leave the task force due to the injuries she received when she almost drowned, injuries that appear to be irreversible. It could, of course, be any other character, but Samar seems to be the likely candidate.
This is all theory. Nothing official has been released by NBC, The Blacklist, or any of the cast so take this all with a pinch of salt, but don’t be surprised if a major death happens tonight.
