The Boys Season 2 has a release date. It’s heading our way in September, but there are a couple of sneak peeks to tide us over.

An end date for The Boys hiatus is in sight. During a virtual panel, we didn’t just get a release date for The Boys Season 2. We also got a couple of sneak peeks.

Get Sept. 4 in your diary. That’s when the premiere of The Boys Season 2 airs. In fact, the first three episodes will be released on that date.

After that, the episodes will be released weekly. Every Friday there will be a new episode to watch, and Eric Kripke says that it’s because there’s so much for us in each episode. We need time to break it all down, apparently. That’s cool! It’s actually going to be fun to have something to look forward to throughout September and into October.

The Boys Season 2 sneak peeks to help

It is a bit of a wait, though. That’s why the cast and showrunner Kripke gave us an hour-long panel. It was a chance to run over events from Season 1 in a fun way and get to see just how many people were back. It’s pretty much everyone who was important from the first season.

We also got to meet Aya Cash, who will play Stormfront on the show. A gender-swap from the graphic novels and a vastly different character, Stormfront is sure to rock The Seven. In fact, we got a sneak peek of her introduction, and she’s not afraid to show people exactly like it is for The Seven. Maybe she can team up with Starlight to make the team much better than ever before.

The panel also gave us a look at the first three minutes of the premiere. We get a look at Black Noir in action, while the government make a deal with Vought for Supe protection. You’ll want to head right to the end of this panel for the clip.

Oh, this season to look forward to. Can it be September already?
