The Ex-Wife is coming to BritBox in August. Think you’ve heard the story before? It could be that you’ve read the book.

If you’re looking for a new thriller to watch, BritBox will have you covered next month. The Ex-Wife is one of the shows to look out for. This British thriller follows a woman who thinks she has it all, but there is something going on with her husband’s first wife.

The twisty thriller certainly sounds familiar to many. That’s because it is based on a novel of the same name by Jess Ryder. You’ll want to check out the book, whether it’s before or after you watch the show. The writing is excellent. Read it before you watch the show to allow yourself time to guess where Ryder is going with the story. See if you’re right.

What is The Ex-Wife about?

This is a series that makes you second-guess everything you think. You see, Natasha seems to have it all, but admittedly, she is the other woman. That’s going to leave a mark for a lot of viewers. I know it did for me.

Natasha has the amazing and wealthy husband, a great house, and a beautiful daughter. She doesn’t seem to have the approval of the family, though. It’s not easy when the first wife is constantly hanging around and is close friends with your sister-in-law, though, is it?

All Natasha wants is for Jen to leave her and her husband alone. However, Jen sticks around and seems to be up to something. Is it possible that Jen is plotting for a way to get Natasha out of the picture and take back the family stolen from her?

They should both probably ask each other if they really know the man they both married.
