Is The Flight Attendant cancelled or renewed for Season 3?

The Flight Attendant Season 2 brought us another murder mystery for Cassie Bowden to solve. Will we see another in a third season?

Originally billed as a limited series, The Flight Attendant quickly gained the attention of everyone and was quickly renewed. That second season has now finished airing on HBO Max (and on Crave in Canada). It wasn’t as good as the first season, but it didn’t have any source material to work from this time.

During the second season, Cassie—now a civilian asset for the CIA—found herself in the middle of another murder mystery. As she struggled to hold onto her sobriety, she realized that she was being framed for murder. She needed to get to the bottom of the case before she ended up being the final victim.

In the end, we got a somewhat happy ending for almost all the characters on the series. It felt like a series finale. Does that mean there’s not going to be a Season 3 of The Flight Attendant?

Will The Flight Attendant Season 3 happen at HBO Max?

Kaley Cuoco says that a third season is unlikely, according to TVLine. That doesn’t mean it isn’t going to happen. The star of the series says that she is done. She thinks the second season is the end, but she’s currently outnumbered in that thought process. There are a lot of people who want a third season.

Cuoco admitted that everyone is currently discussing a third season. However, she notes that they did so much in the second, and the storyline needs to be something better than that to make her commit to it. Without Cuoco as the lead, there arguably can’t be another season.

If we look at how Season 2 ended, do we need it? We saw a number of characters find happiness and security. Isn’t that enough to end it?
