The Flight Attendant Season 2 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more

The Flight Attendant Season 2 is officially happening. Here’s everything we know about the release date, cast, and much more.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 is happening on HBO Max, despite the show originally being planned as a limited series. There are simply more stories to tell with Cassie’s potential future.

We couldn’t be happier about the future of the show. It’s time to look forward at what we do know about The Flight Attendant Season 2.

With the show only just being renewed, there isn’t much in the way of information just yet. However, we’ll update this post with more as we get it. It’ll become a great hub to bookmark for more details as they’re released.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 release date

The show doesn’t have a release date, simply because at the time of writing this, the second season has just been ordered. There is a lot of work to do, including writing the scripts and filming.

It takes at least a year for new seasons in the majority of cases. However, it could take longer due to the protocols in place to film during the pandemic and possibly production shutdowns.

We’re looking at November 2021 at the earliest, but it will probably be 2022 by the time new episodes air.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 cast

Kaley Cuoco will return as Cassie. She is our lead, and there is no brilliant show without her.

We’re hoping to see Michelle Gomez as Miranda considering that character managed to get away. She mentioned a soft spot for Cassie, so if Cassie is in danger again, Miranda could come along to save the day.

We also hope to see more of Zosia Mamet as Annie and T.R. Knight as Davey. Both of these characters are important in Cassie’s life and will help her sobriety. Merle Dandridge as Kim Hammond and Griffin Matthews as Shane Evans would also be two other excellent characters to keep around.

Rosie Perez could return as Megan. The last we saw of her she was in the wind, but the CIA is looking out for her and Megan can’t just quickly change her identity, can she? Does she have somewhere to go? Someone who will help her out? There is a benefit of being able to speak multiple languages, at least, but that storyline isn’t over.

There are a couple of characters we’re not sure about. Colin Woodall could return as Buckley. He wasn’t killed at the end of the last season, which means he could come back for revenge. Or he could just become Cassie’s stalker.

Michiel Huisman as Alex is the big question mark. The character was killed in the series premiere but stuck around in Cassie’s head. While Cassie’s head palace will become a more positive space, is there going to be a chance for Alex to be in there with her? She doesn’t need him there to help her anymore.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 trailer

Since the second season has only just been announced, there’s no trailer yet. We wouldn’t expect that until much closer to the time, so keep an eye out toward the end of 2021 at the earliest for it.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis either. It’s hard to say what The Flight Attendant Season 2 will cover since there’s no source material anymore.

The first season ended with Cassie potentially working for the CIA. That would allow her to get involved in more mysteries without the “her again?” questions that often come up. Maybe she would be the new tail on Megan.
