With the way things ended for June, we are more than ready to see what’s next in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5. We still have a bit of a wait on our hands.

There is some bad news. Hulu has its list of releases in July 2022, and The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 is nowhere on there. We didn’t expect it to arrive this month, of course. That didn’t stop us from having a little hope that a miracle would happen.

We’re ready for more of the dystopian series. It’s time to see what will happen to June now that she’s managed to kill Fred Waterford. It’s also time to see what Serena Joy will do when she finds out what has happened to her husband and father of her child.

When is The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 coming to Hulu?

While the fifth season isn’t coming yet, we do have a light at the end of the tunnel. Hulu recently gave us a premiere date for the season.

We’ll get to watch the two-episode premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 14. This fits with the idea that it was going to return this fall. After the two-episode premiere, the series will release weekly on Wednesdays. This has been the way of previous seasons, although there have been three- and four-episode releases in the past.

The trailer for the season hasn’t dropped yet, but there is a tease of trouble. June, Luke, and Moira will continue to fight to get Hannah out of Gilead, while Serena Joy finds a group of people who want Gilead to spread into Canada. Meanwhile, Joseph will work with Lydia to help transform Gilead into something new.
