Want more from the Baker Street Irregulars? The Irregulars Season 2 is reportedly happening, and here’s what we know so far.

Netflix hasn’t yet officially confirmed that The Irregulars Season 2 is happening. However, there are strong indications that it is, with filming reportedly set to start filming in the summer of 2021.

With this in mind, the information in this post is going to be sparse at the moment. However, you’ll want to bookmark it as we will update it with information as Netflix releases news.

Here’s what we do know about The Irregulars Season 2 so far.

The Irregulars Season 2 release date

There isn’t a release date just yet, which isn’t all that surprising. The show hasn’t even officially been renewed just yet.

With filming slated to happen in the summer, we’re probably looking at the middle to end of 2022 as a release date due to the time needed for post-production. There are a lot of visual effects to add into this series.

The Irregulars Season 2 cast

We can expect the following to return:

• McKell David as Spike
• Thaddea Graham as Bea
• Jojo Macari as Billy
• Harrison Osterfield as Leopold
• Darci Shaw as Jessie

We’ll also likely see Sophie Robertson return as Helena considering Leo agreed to a courtship with her. And if you know your real history, you’ll know the two got married. That does hint that the Leo-Bea relationship simply can’t happen.

Royce Pierreson will also likely return as Dr. John Watson. After all, he and Bea ended the season by having dinner together, and it’s clear that Watson realized that the group of orphans could handle themselves and solve cases involving the supernatural.

Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Eileen O’Higgins will probably not return as Sherlock and Alice. The two went into the Rip at the end of the first season, and based on things Alice said when she initially came back through, there’s no way for the two of them to return from Purgatory.

The Irregulars Season 2 trailer

There isn’t a trailer for the second season just yet considering it’s not even confirmed at the moment. We’ll likely get a trailer around a month before the release date, so we’re going to be waiting a while.

The Irregulars Season 2 synopsis

What could the second season be about? There’s no official synopsis, but we’ll likely see the group of teens working more closely with John Watson during the second season. While the Rip isn’t open, there are still likely more supernatural events to come. Even without the supernatural, the orphans do great detective work, and Watson needs people who can go where he can’t.

Could this be the end of the Rip, though? Don’t count it out. There’s always going to be someone who wants to open it, and there’s a chance Watson will want to open it to get Sherlock and Alice back.
