It’s been a huge weekend for Star Wars fans. With the reveal of the Star Wars: Episode IX trailer and title at the very beginning of Star Wars Celebration, it started off with an almighty bang. Today was all about The Mandalorian and the panel was just as good as Star Wars: Episode IX.

The first-ever live action Star Wars series is due to arrive towards the end of the year. It is to appear on the Disney+ streaming service and is scheduled to premiere on the same day as the Disney+ launch date.

During today’s panel, fans in attendance were greeted by Jon Favreau and the cast of The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers.

The panel revealed plenty about the upcoming series, one of the major reveals being Gina Carano and Carl Weather’s characters. Carano is to play Cara Dune, an ex-Rebel Shock Trooper, and Weather’s, a head bounty hunter called Greef Carga.
