While we’re certainly disappointed that we won’t get a new episode in 2021, we are excited about The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 release date on Amazon Prime Video. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We had hoped that we’d get a Christmas miracle. There was a slim chance that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 would be ready for December 2021. That hasn’t been the case. However, we do get a release date, which helps to give us something to look forward to in 2022.

Midge and Susie will be back in action in February. TVLine confirmed the release date and brought us the first official teaser for the season. It certainly sets the tone of things to expect.

When is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 coming to Amazon Prime Video?

How long are we waiting? We’ll get to see The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022. Yes, it is a bit of a wait, but it’s less time than Outlander fans are waiting for Season 6!

The entire season will drop at once. Amazon isn’t opting for the hybrid release for this one. That’s not to say the hybrid or weekly releases aren’t working, but they aren’t necessary for all shows. Mrs. Maisel works well as a binge-watch.

What to expect on the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

At the end of the third season, we saw Midge lose her place on Shy Baldwin’s tour. Her apartment is also at risk thanks to Susie’s gambling. Then there’s the fact that Susie has taken on Jane Lynch’s Sophie Lennon as a client, and we know how much Sophie and Midge hate each other.

This all sets up the fourth season for plenty of drama. Midge wants to be the opening act, but Susie doesn’t think that’s possible. Maybe it is with us getting into the 1960s and a time for change, but Midge has to put in a lot of work to make this possible. That work is going to cost her a few relationships with her family and friends.
