In news that surprises absolutely nobody, The Masked Singer Season 5 is officially happening. FOX has renewed the show ahead of the Season 4 semi-finals.
Ratings have been strong for the show, with it routinely topping the demo in the live ratings on a Wednesday night. Before the One Chicago show returned, it was also the top show in the audience.
This is also a show that can film during a pandemic. It’s possible to put the show in the fall even if the scripted shows won’t be ready. After all, we have no idea what things will be like during 2021.
It’s only natural to renew the series.
When will The Masked Singer Season 5 premiere?
According to the report from TVLine, The Masked Singer Season 5 is set for 2021. It will likely air in the fall. After all, it makes sense to keep FOX’s top show for the biggest time of the year for TV ratings.

We’re looking forward to seeing the costumes for the fifth season. We’re also looking forward to the unmaskings.
