The Resident Season 5 wasn’t set to return until February 2022, but that’s changed. It’s coming back this month.
FOX initially told us that the show wouldn’t return until Feb. 1. We were disappointed, but at least we had an end date to the break. We’d make it through January. That changed this month.
It’s not clear why FOX made the schedule change. We’re not really complaining, though. We’re just happy to see our favorite doctors and nurses earlier than expected.
When does The Resident Season 5 return?
We’ll get a new episode a week earlier than expected. The Resident Season 5, Episode 11 will air on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
We’ll get it at the usual time of 8 p.m. ET/PT. While Tuesdays are a difficult timeslot, they’ve been made a little less competitive with NCIS moving to Mondays.
When the show does return, we’re going to get an emotional episode for Conrad. A patient comes in, but not just any patient. This is one who received one of Nic’s organs. It’s going to be one of those episodes where Conrad does everything he can to save the patient because it will mean saving the good that Nic did with her death.
We’ll also get to find out what’s going on with Dr. Bell. Conrad has figured it out, but does it mean Bell will never be able to operate again.
Something that we’re hoping to find out about is a little about Kincade. She has no online history, which either means she’s a scammer or it could mean some sort of witness protection. Hopefully, we’ll get answers during the new episode.
