The Wheel of Time Season 2 is already confirmed

With the way things ended on The Wheel of Time, there’s no doubt you need more. The good news is Season 2 is definitely happening.
There are a lot of questions with the way The Wheel of Time Season 1 ended. Nobody really got a clear ending to the story, and it’s led to the need to get more episodes. There won’t be any more episodes to the first season, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more to the story.
Amazon Prime Video treated us to great news earlier this year. Well before a premiere date was even announced, we learned that The Wheel of Time Season 2 would happen. The renewal was certainly great news for those of us who needed to go into the first season without worrying about any cliffhangers. And what a lot of cliffhangers there were!
When will The Wheel of Time Season 2 premiere on Amazon Prime Video?
How long will we need to wait for answers to our burning questions? It’s going to be a lengthy wait.
The good news is filming is already underway. It’s been underway for a few months, and there is a good chance that it will be finished sometime in early to mid-2022. Then it will be all down to how long the post-production process takes. Post-production tends to take at least six months, but it’s likely to be longer with a fantasy series like this.
Most Amazon shows take between 14 and 18 months between seasons, which would mean January 2023 at the earliest under normal circumstances. The good news is the show was renewed earlier than normal, which can help to bring the second season sooner. It could mean around November 2022.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on The Wheel of Time Season 2 filming to get a better idea of when the new season arrives.
