The Witcher Season 2 is not coming to Netflix in June 2021
If you were hoping to continue with Geralt’s journey to start the summer, you’ll be disappointed. The Witcher Season 2 isn’t coming to Netflix in June.
We’ve taken a look at the full list of Netflix releases twice to see what’s heading our way. The fantasy series isn’t on the list. It is disappointing, but it’s not all too surprising.
The Witcher Season 2 has finished filming. That much we know. However, the series is one of those that will take a lot of post-production world. Fantasy shows always do. While as much as possible is done without VFX, there just isn’t a way around things that involve magic.
The post-production process is worth the wait. We want to make sure it’s as good as it possibly can be. There’s nothing more distracting than terrible graphics. Just look at the FBI Season 3 finale and the car ride through Mexico to get an idea of how bad graphics can still be.

When will The Witcher Season 2 come to Netflix?
How long are we waiting for the season? There is a little bit of good news. We’ll definitely get it by the end of 2021.
Netflix recently confirmed a few titles were coming in Q4 of 2021, and The Witcher Season 2 was one of them. It will likely be either November or December based on the amount of post-production work that will need doing. It makes sense to hold it to December to give us something exciting to close the year out.
Until then, there is a lot of re-watching to do. There will definitely be things you missed the first time, so you’ll want to watch the season again. This is the one that had three different timelines, and it wasn’t clear there were three timelines at first.
