The good news is that there is a sequel to the story. Shiny Broken Pieces is the second book in the series, continuing the story just the way it looks like the second season of the TV series could.

We could learn within the next six weeks about the future of the series. Netflix usually takes one to two months from the release to decide whether there’s another season or not.

If we don’t hear within a couple of months, it is usually bad news. That’s not always the case. After all, The Umbrella Academy Season 3’s renewal happened after two months, but it usually meant it.

We should have an idea around the middle of February whether there is a second season or not.
