Upload Season 2: Amazon officially renews the Greg Daniels comedy

Calling all Upload fans. There’s some excellent news. Upload Season 2 is officially happening on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s what we know.

Just days after hoping for it, we have some excellent news. Upload Season 2 is officially happening, with Amazon renewing the Greg Daniels comedy a week after its release. It’s clear that subscribers on the streamer loved it.

Deadline shared the news, although didn’t give much else away. To be honest, it’s not likely that there’s much to say at this point. All we know is that we should expect Robbie Amell, Andy Allo, and Allegra Edwards to return as Nathan, Nora, and Ingrid respectively.

An early renewal

We weren’t expecting a renewal for the series so soon. Amazon tends to wait a month or so to announce renewal or cancellation status. In fact, it’s usually for a renewal status. There are a lot of shows that have been left with unknown fates. We’re still waiting for any word on whether there will be more of The Widow.

Getting a renewal so early makes it clear that this was a popular show. And that’s not all too surprising. Not only was it from Greg Daniels, but it had Robbie Amell in the lead. There were plenty of reasons to tune in from the beginning, and there’s no doubt that the pilot would have had you hooked.

This is easily one of the best shows on Amazon Prime Video. It’s also one of the easiest binge-watches ever. If you haven’t watched it yet, you’ll be done by tomorrow. I guarantee it.

Upload Season 2 is necessary

There’s also no doubt that we need this second season. After all, this is one of those shows that left us with major questions. The cliffhanger made it clear that Daniels has far more stories that he wants to tell. And we want to see them.

I won’t share how this show ended its first season. All I will tell you is that if this show was canceled, there would have been a riot.
