Micki Ramirez is leaving the team at some point on Walker Season 2. Will she be killed off? We don’t think so.

We’re certainly going to be sad losing Lindsey Morgan’s Micki Ramirez on the series. She’s a well-developed, strong-willed character with a lot more potential. However, Morgan has chosen to leave the series for “personal reasons,” according to Deadline.

We certainly respect Morgan’s decision. However, now we’re curious about how the series is going to write out the character. After all, she has some close ties in Texas, including the boyfriend she moved in with during the first season. There’s no doubt that we want to see more of Tricki (and Trickier) on the series.

The show could opt to kill Micki off. This would lead to Trey getting a storyline that involves a lot of grief. In fact, all the characters would grieve as they’ve all formed a connection to Micki in some sort of way. It doesn’t sound like this is going to happen though.

Micki’s storyline will be left open for a return on Walker Season 2

Something that the network and studio have said is that they will leave the door open for Micki to return. This makes it pretty clear that we’re not going to see Micki killed off for the exit to happen. This isn’t Supernatural after all!

There is a lot of focus on Morgan stepping away as a series regular. She will be welcomed back as a guest star if she wants and if the storylines are there. It would suggest that she’s going to be written out by leaving the Texas Rangers or even Texas as a whole.

Could this link to her current undercover case? Is it possible that it goes wrong and she’s injured, meaning she has to leave? This is how FBI: Most Wanted handled Kellen Lutz’s exit from that series.

Could she end up having to go undercover for longer, and that means we’ll not see her storyline play out until somewhere in the future when she’s needed. Remember that Cordell was undercover for a year before Walker started, with his family not seeing him at all. This could certainly happen for Micki.

One thing we’re sure of is that she’s not going to be killed off.
