Warrior Season 3 adds two to the cast
As Warrior Season 3 starts filming, we get to know two of the new cast members joining. Who are they, and who will they play?
Just in case you didn’t think the Warrior cast was big enough, there are two more joining. To be honest; this is one of those shows that needs more characters. We need to see the different personalities, lifestyles, and opinions within the tongs.
There are two new additions so far. Both of them are linked to Chinatown, making it clear that we’re going to spend a lot more time that. There makes sense considering the nature of the show.
Who’s joining Warrior Season 3?
TVLine reports that Hawaii Five-0‘s Mark Dacascos will join the third season as Kong Pak. He is Long-Zii’s former leader. We met the current leader during the first season, and he ended up behind bars. It’s going to be interesting to see the former leader turn up considering Long-Zii was absorbed during Season 2.
Konk is actually connected to Li Yong. He is his old friend and mentor, which will give us a chance to see some more of his backstory. All we really know right now is that he’s Mai Ling’s lover.
Chelsea Muirhead from Slo Pitch is also joining as a series regular. She’ll play Yan Mi, a shrewd daughter of a local print shop making in Chinatown. She may be shrewd, but don’t discount her. She likely sees a lot, but which tong is she going to be loyal to?
Warrior Season 3 has now started filming. We’re not going to see it until 2023, though.
