Where to watch DC’s Stargirl: Netflix? Hulu? DC Universe?

Are you ready for another superhero show? Stargirl premieres on The CW tonight and will run on Tuesdays. Where can you watch the show online?

There’s a new superhero in town and one that you may not have heard much about. Stargirl premieres on The CW on Tuesday, May 19, and will run on Tuesdays throughout the rest of spring 2020. But where will you be able to watch it online?

Stargirl isn’t only airing on The CW. It has already premiered on DC Universe in the United States. That’s where you’ll be able to watch the entire episodes. When airing on The CW, some content needs to be removed for the commercials. But what are your online viewing options, especially if you want to watch for free?

Streaming Stargirl online for free

There is some good news for those who want to stream the series for free. The new DC show will air on The CW App the day after new episodes air on The CW. The app is 100% free and you can watch the episodes in the entirety from The CW.

But what if you want to watch the full episodes? You’ll need to head to DC Universe for that. There is a free trial if you haven’t had it before but it lasts a week and then you’ll need to start paying. It’s worth it, especially if you love the likes of Titans and Doom Patrol.

Watch on Netflix or Hulu?

Will you be able to stream on a service somewhere? Some parts of the States does offer The CW as part of Hulu’s live TV package, but that’s the only way you’ll be able to stream that way. For the most part, The CW isn’t available. DC Universe shows don’t head to Netflix or Hulu in the U.S.

Some do head to Netflix internationally. It’s not clear where Stargirl is going to go just yet. We’re still looking out for that for you.

Buy on Amazon Video

You will likely be able to buy the episodes on Amazon Video. These episodes are usually available with a Season Pass. The episodes haven’t been made available yet, and this is likely due to DC Universe. Since that’s a streaming service, DC Universe won’t want to make episodes available digitally just yet. You’ll likely need to wait for the show to be available on DVD and Blu-ray to get on Amazon Video.

Stargirl is certainly worth the watch, especially if you have younger DC fans in the house. This is wonderful for young girls, especially, who want to see themselves on the screen.

Stargirl airs Tuesdays on DC Universe and The CW.
