We need Chicago PD Season 11 right now. When can we expect the new season to arrive on NBC? Will it come out this fall?
Chicago PD Season 10 ended with a major cliffhanger. Adam Ruzek’s life is on the line. It seemed like the surgery was successful, but that’s what was said about Mouch in Chicago Fire Season 11 and he ended the finale bleeding out from his surgical site.
So, what’s in store for Intelligence? Will they be a team member permanently down? We need the 11th season premiere to find out.
When is the Chicago PD Season 11 premiere on NBC?
This is where we come in with some bad news. While NBC has made it clear that Chicago PD will return in the fall, we don’t have a set date. We don’t really have a window of a month, either. That’s not surprising with it being early summer, but it’s also linked to the writers strike.
Usually, we’d be able to say that the premiere is likely to happen toward the middle or end of September. This year is different. With the writers on strike, there aren’t any scripts available to start production. There won’t be until the writers go back to work, and that isn’t going to happen until there’s a fair deal on the table. Writers deserve to be paid properly for their work. Without them, there wouldn’t be any show.
On top of that, there’s a chance that SAG will go on strike in July. That takes out actors, producers, and more. We’re going to see some major disruption to the fall schedule at this rate.
Does that mean a 2024 premiere date? Possibly. We’ll keep an eye on things.
