FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is officially happening at CBS. Now we just need to know when we can jump back into the story.
Unlike FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted did not end on a major cliffhanger. That doesn’t stop us from wanting to see what’s to come next.
Remy managed to get some closure in the finale. He found out who actually killed his brother, and learned that he’s an uncle. This led to him ending the season visiting a man who doesn’t even know who he is but is about to get a much larger family.
There are plenty of more perps out there, though. There’s more work for the Fugitive Task Force to do, and we’re ready to see the team in action. The question is when that’s going to happen.
FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere date on CBS
What we know right now is that FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is set to be part of the fall schedule on CBS. It is set to air on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT straight after new episodes of the other FBI shows. CBS hasn’t yet set the return dates, but that’s normal for this time of year.
What’s not normal is the fact that the writers rooms aren’t operating. The writers are on strike, and now we’re entering the territory of production being delayed. That means don’t expect a September premiere date for any of the main fall shows.
Will we need to wait until 2024, though? That depends on when the networks start talking to each other to get a deal made for the writers. All production studios need to talk, including streamers, and that’s where the problem is. The streamers don’t really want to do the talking as they’re not being affected just yet. They will do, though!
