Our favorite shows are now officially on a break. How long is this summer hiatus going to be? When will FBI Season 6 premiere on CBS?

The summer hiatus is officially here. The broadcast networks take a break during the summer from their regular programs. The live ratings take a dip as the warmer weather and longer days get here. It doesn’t make sense to risk the shows by airing episodes this time of year.

That means we’re waiting for the fall season to begin. After all, that’s when the likes of FBI return with new episodes. Is that going to be the case this year?

When will FBI Season 6 premiere on CBS?

CBS has decided to keep FBI on Tuesdays, with the show kicking off the slate at 8 p.m. ET/PT. That’s not surprising. Tuesdays with the entire FBI franchise has been a successful move by the network. Why change it up?

This is where there is some bad news. While the shows are set to return in the fall, we can’t put a rough month as a return time down. Normally, we would say September of each year, but it doesn’t look like that will happen with this one.

The WGA writers strike is on going. That’s putting the return date of the shows at risk, and we could have to wait until 2024 depending on how long it takes for the negotiations to be made—or even start!
