NCIS Season 19 is currently on its winter break. How long is that break going to be? When will NCIS return in 2022?

There is no doubt that we’re looking forward to more episodes of NCIS. Despite the loss of Gibbs at the end of the most recent season, the show has still managed to keep a great level of humor, drama, and action. Parker is certainly growing on us, and the Monday night timeslot is starting to feel a little more comfortable.

Okay, we lie about the timeslot. Can we have it back on Tuesdays? We will say that Parker really is starting to grow on us though, and it helps that he’s a very different leader to Gibbs.

When is NCIS back in 2022?

The series aired its last episode of 2021 a couple of weeks ago. It wasn’t promoted heavily as the fall finale, but you may notice that CBS isn’t doing that with a lot of shows this year. It’s not really all that clear why.

What we do know is the wait for new episodes isn’t going to be too long. The series is on its way back in the early new year.

In fact, the first Monday in January will bring us a new case. That’s right; we’ll get a new episode on Monday, Jan. 3. The show is keeping the 9/8c timeslot.

The new episode will see the team called in to deal with a case of potential treason rather than murder. Navy Chief Warrant Officer Rafi Nazar is suspected of trying to sell stolen software. Of course, the software is classified and belongs to the Navy. It is used to pilot the combat drones.

That’s all we get to know right now. The team is sure to need Tim’s expertise in software for this episode.
