We’re into the summer hiatus. All eyes are on when our favorite broadcast shows will return. What about NCIS Season 21 on CBS?

We are more than ready to see another season of NCIS. The Season 20 finale brought us a lot of questions. Torres is out for revenge, but will he actually pull the trigger? What happens if he does? Will the team protect him, or will he be able to cover up the murder?

The good news for fans is that we will eventually get some answers. A 21st season is happening. Yes, NCIS is now legal to drink. When will this season premiere, though?

NCIS Season 21 premiere date on CBS

CBS is happy with the performance of the series. It will remain in the fall schedule on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. That would usually mean a September 2023 start, but we’re not expecting that this year.

The WGA writers strike continues. That will eventually cause a delay for production, which delays post-production and premiere dates. On top of that, the actors may strike in July, further hampering production. It is possible that we’ll have to wait until 2024 for the episodes as this writers strike is set to be a long one.
