We’re ready to head back into the world of time travel via leaping. When will Quantum Leap Season 2 premiere?
Quantum Leap Season 1 left us with one major question: where did Ben go after that leap? He saved Addison, which was what he intended, so shouldn’t that mean he would get to leap back into his own time?
Well, it turns out that the code still wasn’t right. Ben didn’t get back into his own body. Instead, he’s in another time, and now he needs to figure out what’s going on. There’s a bit of a wait for that to happen, though.
When is the Quantum Leap Season 2 premiere?
We will not get the second season just yet. However, NBC is happy with the show’s linear ratings. Quantum Leap Season 2 is set to return in the fall. It’s going to be on a new night, though. The show is moving to Tuesdays at 10/9c.
Will it premiere in September like most fall shows do? There is a chance that this can happen. With the early renewal, the writers were able to get back to work quickly. Everyone agreed to film the second season straight off the back of the first. This is great considering the current writers strike, which is shutting down a lot of productions.
There will be some episodes ready for the fall. NBC could opt for a fall start and then a longer winter break than normal to counter the delay that there will be with not all scripts being ready before the strike.
