Fans of The Lord of the Rings will certainly be happy to watch the series. The first two episodes have dropped on Prime Video, giving us a look at the fabulous world. It’s been five years in the making and is certainly worth the wait.
But it is only two episodes. There are more to the series, and now all eyes are on when the new episodes will arrive. When will The Lord of the Rings Season 1 finale air so we can binge-watch the entire thing?
The Lord of the Rings Season 1 finale air date
The series is getting a weekly release. That’s not too surprising considering the work that has been put into the show. There’s no doubt that the binge-watch release format has killed off some great TV shows. Look at how many Netflix shows are cancelled before they get a chance.
Amazon will want to make sure this fantasy series gets the attention it deserves. The weekly release format is the best way to do that. But that means a wait for the finale.
The Lord of the Rings Season 1 finale will air on Friday, Oct. 14. The episodes are dropping at midnight ET as of this coming Friday, but that means those on the west coast can watch at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13. It’ll be worth binge-watching throughout Thursday to get ready for the release at midnight ET.
