Where to stream The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Netflix? Hulu? Disney Plus?

Phase 4 of the MCU continues through TV shows. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is up next, but where can you stream it?

Phase 4 started with WandaVision, although that wasn’t the initial plan. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was supposed to be the first of the shows to come to us. Airing them out of order doesn’t affect too much, and aren’t we all used to watching MCU movies out of chronological order?

As the title suggests, the series will follow Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. It takes place six months after the events of Avengers: Endgame ($), when Captain America went to the past and changed the timeline. He appeared to Sam in the present day with his shield, giving Sam the chance to become the next Captain America.

That’s not something Sam wants, but he is willing to continue fighting for what he believes is right. And he’s got Bucky by his side. Of course, the two don’t really get along, and that’s what makes their dynamic so great.

Where to stream The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

So, where are we going to watch the series? Can we get it on Netflix?

Sadly, not. However, you likely already have the streaming platform that it is coming to.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is coming to Disney Plus starting Friday, March 19. It will then air Fridays for five more weeks. There are six episodes in total in case you wait for the season to be available to binge-watch at the end.

Will the series be on DVD and Blu-ray?

Don’t expect it to come to DVD and Blu-ray. At least, not yet! It’s not clear what Disney is going to do with its original shows, but they haven’t come to DVD and Blu-ray yet.

The Mandalorian is probably the best one to keep an eye out for since it’s already had two seasons. It does seem like some missed opportunities, but then, why have originals if you offer them up without the need to keep the subscription to Disney Plus?

Will The Falcon and the Winter Soldier be on Amazon Video and other Digital retailers?

What about the series coming to Digital? This is also very unlikely. Just like DVD and Blu-ray releases, it encourages people to buy the episodes for a one-off cost instead of constantly subscribing to a system.

Considering the cost of creating the shows, it’s not surprising that companies want you to keep subscribing to watch them!
