Whiskey Cavalier is still sweet and funny, but who do we enjoy watching more?
Whiskey Cavalier returned with a brand new episode last night on ABC and it is still as sweet and funny as ever. But, who do we enjoy watching more, Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan, or our supporting cast?
While watching last night’s new episode of Whiskey Cavalier, “Mrs. & Mr. Trowbridge,” I had the same feeling when watching the series premiered. Which is great. A series that starts off as sweet and funny can start to lose its appeal after several episodes, but Whiskey Cavalier has managed to stay strong. But, during the episode, I started to wonder who I enjoyed watching more.
Our main characters, played by Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan, or our supporting cast, played by Ana Ortiz, Tyler Jame Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins?
Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan are obviously the main pull for Whiskey Cavalier. But I found myself wanting more of our supporting cast last night in “Mrs. & Mr. Trowbridge.” The back and forth between both Tyler Jame Williams and Vir Das as they went about the episode was great. Seeing them either knocking people out by spiking their wine or feeding unsuspecting individuals nano trackers had me snorting with laughter on more than one occasion.

Ana Ortiz was on fire as well after being left behind to provide support to the team. And Josh Hopkins’ character is just getting funnier. Will he ever be forgiven?
I think this is what is making Whiskey Cavalier an absolute must watch each and every week at the moment. While the main focus is between Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan the series does not lose any quality when switching to Ana Ortiz, Tyler Jame Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. No matter who you are watching, it is still dramedy gold playing out in front of you.
