We’re nearly at the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2. Will there be a third season of the series, or will Amazon cancel the show?

We knew The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 would happen before we even got the first season. Amazon was so confident in the series that it gave it an early second season. That’s not happened with the third season.

We’re over the halfway mark in the series. In fact, we’re close to the end of this season, and now we have no idea what to expect. Will there be more to this story? After all, there’s a third book in the series to adapt.

Will Amazon renew The Summer I Turned Pretty for Season 3?

There is some excellent news for fans. There is going to be a third season of the series. Amazon confirmed the renewal last week.

Wait, how was there a renewal when the SAG-AFTRA strike is still going on? Well, it turns out that Amazon confirmed this renewal before the strikes. It only just told us that the show would continue.

We got an announcement video, which makes it clear that the third season is going to follow the third book. This is the most disappointing and annoying books of the whole season, but hopefully, the series can right some of the wrongs made. We can hope, right?
