The summer 2021 World’s Finest Collection mystery box was all about the retro Justice League. Take a look inside the box.

I’ll admit that I’m a little bit behind with this review. The crate came through late due to COVID-19 delays and then shipment to Canada delays. But it’s better late than not at all, right?

You’ll likely be thinking about getting the fall 2021 World’s Finest Collection ($) right now. There are a few spoilers out, and I’ll get to them this week. The review of last season’s box will certainly help you decide whether to buy the new box or not.

This box was all about the retro Justice League. We’ve had the retro Justice League before, and the box focused on the usual suspects. This box touched on a few different members of the Justice League, the ones you likely don’t have in your current geeky collection.

T-shirt, reusable bag, glass, and more

For the most part, the items are pretty good. The T-shirt is the usual good quality, although I’ve not worn it out yet. It’s been too warm in Southern Ontario, but the weather is starting to turn, so the T-shirts will be out soon.

The glass is pretty standard. I am worried about how the sticker will last during the washes. If you see the glasses from past CultureFly boxes, you’ll understand. It took two washes for a sticker from a Supernatural glass to completely come off and The Flash glass from a few years ago isn’t looking too great. That’s just with normal washes, too!

An item that I do like and have already got some use of is the reusable bag. It’s the Daily Planet on the outside and opens up to the Superman logo, which is cute. The bag itself is durable and semi-waterproof. It fits easily in my purse, so I have reusable bags when I’m out and about.

The apron is okay, but it’s not something I’m going to use. I’ve kept it to one side for the kids when they help me with baking. And the bendy straw is going to be great for them. Something that I do love for both of these is that the Justice League members are those you wouldn’t necessarily know. It looks like CultureFly is starting to listen.

The napkin holder is a little pointless for me. It also feels a little fragile. I’ve not tested it since I don’t have a lot of paper napkins in the house unless I’m hosting some sort of party. Not sure when that will be!

Decorative items in the summer 2021 crate

There are two items that are more decorative than anything else. Okay, one of them is technically usable, but it’s going to be decorative for me.

The vinyl for the season is the old-school Green Arrow. I love it and it has a great spot on my Justice League shelf at home. The kids want it, although they’re sure he’s Robin Hood instead of Green Arrow. I have some teaching to do!

The usable decorative item is a salt and pepper set. I want to love it, but there’s one thing that let’s it down. The set is Batman and Robin in the Batmobile. However, when you put the two characters inside the Batmobile, they’re too low down. You should be able to see their faces through the windscreen. Instead, you can just about see the tops of their heads.
