Fans have noticed that Yara from 90 Day Fiance doesn’t wear her ring on her left hand. Why is that? It’s all linked to her culture.

One of the great things about 90 Day Fiance is that we learn a little more about other cultures. Yara is from Ukraine, and it turns out that she has a different culture with wedding bands compared to America. In fact, her culture is similar to a lot of Eastern European cultures and was observed in other parts of Europe in the past.

Fans noticed a while back that Yara didn’t wear her wedding band. It turned out that when she was pregnant, her fingers swelled up to the point where she had to cut her ring off with pliers. But now she has a ring again, and it’s not on her right hand.

Yara wears her rings on her right hand. You will have seen it during the most recent Tell Alls when she’s sat on the couch with Jovi.

This is the culture in Eastern Europe. Women will wear their rings on their right hand. Wearing an engagement ring on her left hand would mean nothing to people.

Wearing the band on the left hand can signify being widowed. Jovi is very much still around, so she won’t wear the band on there, will she?
